Glastonbury Festival 2013

Glastonbury Festival in 2013 – some of the day-to-day reality behind the performance highs (from the point-of-view of a festival volunteer). Five days where a corner of Somerset becomes a small city and home to hundreds of thousands of revellers.

My view? It’s hard going combining work duties with enjoying the performances, but thoroughly worthwhile. We still need to find a solution to the amount of detritus left afterwards, but even so, there is sometbing quite wonderful about Glastonbury.
